Evan Schwartz was invited to attend the We Are Family Foundation’s Third Annual Celebration, a benefit to honor the humanitarian efforts of Peter Gabriel, Dr. Maya Angelou, and Daniel Crown.
Hosted by Board Member Montel Williams with performances by the B-52’s, CHIC and other special guests, the benefit celebrated the Foundation’s efforts to build a global family through philanthropic programs and public education initiatives. Evan Schwartz was pleased to attend the event, held at the Manhattan Center’s Grand Ballroom in New York City: “It was great to see all of these artists take the time to come together to support such a worthwhile cause.”
The We Are Family Foundation supports those who are victims of intolerance by creating and supporting programs that inspire and educate individuals of all ages about diversity, understanding, respect, and multiculturalism.
