Scott is an experienced and successful insurance lawyer with more than 15 years of combined experience in the insurance field. Mr. Harrigan was the Managing Attorney of the Schwartz, Conroy & Hack disability claims services team. Before becoming a lawyer, Scott was an Analyst for a major New York City insurance brokerage company and a Financial Consultant with a major national health insurance company. His experience in the insurance industry, in addition to his Master’s Degree in Business, enhance Scott’s depth of experience and perspective on all insurance matters. His extensive working knowledge of ERISA and experience working on ERISA governed claims also provides him with many of the tools that Schwartz, Conroy & Hack uniquely employs in the health insurance and disability insurance arenas.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Clark University, his MBA from Dowling College, and his Juris Doctorate from Touro Law Center.

In law school, Scott served an intern for the Honorable Leonard Silverman, a Justice in the New York Court of Claims. Scott is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and he is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
